He was born in 1972 in Shaanxi.In 1995,he got viticulture and oenology degree from Northwest A&F University.He once travelled to France,Germany and US for wine study and research.

Work in Xixia King

In 1994,Wang Xiaofeng was assigned to Ningxia for internship.And in 1997, he started his work in Xixia King. He recalled that at that time,it’s a little farm,very desolated.But people there were very friendly,optimistic and hardworking.When he found that the eastern foot of Helan Mountains had good conditions for wine grapes,he decided to work here.
　　

At the beginning, there was no specific post for him,however he didn’t complain and  worked with passion.During half year’s internship,he came to work in production, bottling workshops and laboratory.He soon understood each process of winemaking.After internship,he was assigned to work in the production workshop as technican later in production technology department as supervisor. And in 2009,because of excellent work,he was promoted as the company’s vice chief engineer.

Xiao Yinping,the general manager commented that,"when you think Wang Xiaofeng should be there,you will find he is there.When a work needs him,he will be there always."His home is in Yinchuan,but he works in Yu Quanying county. So he returns home once a week. During the harvest and fermentation,he went back in two or three weeks.His wife takes care of the whole family and gives him lots of supports.

Wholeheartly to make wine

When talking about his philosophy of winemaking,  Wang Xiaofeng answered, "conscience, honesty, ingenuity, careful and love."Conscience means winemakers should follow wine laws and some standards,to ensure food safety.Honesty means you should be honest,not to make the fake and inferior wines.Ingenuity means winemakers should make some unique wines follows their own concepts,wisdom and experience.Careful means winemakers need to work carefully in each process. Details determine the quality. Love means winemakers should treat wines as their beloved children and help them to mature.

In recent years,Xixia King wines have won many awards. At last,Wang Xiaofeng said,"My duty is to make more good quality Xixia King wines,let more consumers enjoy and love Xixia King."
