In Yunnan province,vines don't need to bury in winter.The vineyards in Shangri-la Qiqing plateau located between an altitude of 1800-2900 meters.In March while China's other wine regions are busy with debury work,wine growers in Shangri-la are taking techincal trainnings.Works in the vineyards are re-pruning,soil sampling and fertilization.
The lowest temperature can stabilize at 5 degrees on March 15th.All aroud is a sign of Spring.In April,vines start to bud.
