10 Brodeaux wines,from AOC to first growth Chateaux,from left bank to right bank,from Chateau Cheval Blanc to Chateau Lafite Rothschild,you may think it's wine promotion in Beijing,Shanghai or Guangzhou.But that's the Bordeaux wines tasting organized by UCWA Northern Xinjiang Winemakers Association in Manas,Xinjiang.
32 local winemakers attended in this event,which opens a new page of Chinese winemakers team construction!The event was held in Manas Haixiang Manor winery,hosted by Wu Lizhu,director-general of UCWA Northern Xinjiang.Jim Sun,secretary-general of UCWA was present at the meeting.
"Chinese winemakers Bordeaux Wines Tasting" is UCWA's important event since its foundation.When the news came out,it was well-received by all region associations.It aims to let Chinese winemakers have the chance to taste top wines from world class regions,broaden their horizons,enrich wine knowlegde,so to improve Chinese winemaker's overall quality.The event got great support from Nomacorc,Shenma Packing,Yu Chang Machinery and ASC Fine Wines.
Wang Qun,member of the association,general manager of Datang Xiyu Winery was the educator.He once studied in France and worked in Bordeaux first growth chateaux.During the tasting,he shared much knowledge about Bordeaux region and its wines.All winemakers were very excited,it's really a great chance for them to taste such good Bordeaux wines!
Besides wine tasting,three wine supporting enterprises from the industry Nomacorc,Shenma Packing,Yu Chang Machinery also gave excellent technical trainings on wine closures,oak barrels and wine equipments.
