The launching ceremony of "World Cabernet Gernischt Day" was launched by Changyu on May 25th at its stand on Vinexpo HK 2016.Now China has its own grape festival.
Recently,its first celebration wine tasting event was held in Yantai Changyu Chateau Castel.The Director General of the OIV, Jean-Marie Aurand, also present in this event during his visits in Yantai.
Cabernet Gernischt is one of the 124 wine grape varieties Changyu introduced from Europe.Now it has become a unique wine grape varitey in China.
Changyu company now has the world's largest grape bases for Cabernet Gernischt.It accounts for 80% of Yantai total production and 70% of whole china.
Changyu Jiebaina,which was launched in 1931, is made mainly by Cabernet Gernischt.2016 is Changyu Jiebaina's 85th annivesary,now it has exported to 28 countries and become a well-recognized China wine brand.Total sales has reached to 430 million bottles. What a legend for Caberent Gernisht!
