In April,there is a big event in Chinese wine industry.With the effort of initiator,Sun Zhijun,chief editor of www.winechina.com and supports of region winemakers,The Union of Chinese Winemakers Association(UCWA) is formally founded.
Now the union has its branches in China's four wine regions,northern Xinjiang,the southern Xinjiang,Ningxia,and Qinghuangdao.Members has elected their presidents.Chinese winemakers finally has their own organization!

In April,there is another good news for Chinese winemakers.The Chinese Winamakers (Second Volumn) started to compile.www.winechina.com is the first website reporting chinese winemakers and opens a column for that.Now it has reported about nearly 100 winemakers.The first volumn of Chinese winemakers has been pubilished.

The Union of Chinese Winemakers Association is non-governmental and non-profit organization.It aims to build a study and communication platform for Chinese winemakers.The secretariat of the union is set in www.winechina.com.
