On March 25th,the award ceremony of 2014 China Fine Wines Challenge was held in Chengdu.
On March 25th,the award ceremony of 2014 China Fine Wines Challenge was held in Chengdu. Wang Zuming, secretary-general of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association's wine branch, Professor Ma Huiqin and Li Demei,French Sommelier Nicolas Carre,Representatives from 22 wineries,sponsors,as well as medias attended the event.
In 2014,it is the 8th edition of China Fine Wines Challenge (Previous known as Colombin Yantai International Wine Competition),which was held in November last year.Now,it has become the most influential and well-recognized wine competition in China.
The ceremony was hosted by Zhang Junxiang,professor of Ningxia University. At the beginning,Ma Peixuan,head judge of the competition made an report on this competition.After announcing the results,the award ceremony started.
Shen Yang,General manager of Domaine Chandon (Ningxia) Moet Hennessy company,Chen Lizhong from Xinjiang Tiansai Vineyards,as well as Wu Lei from Xinjiang Chateau Aroma gave their award-winning speeches.
As a world famous natural cork producer,Italian Colombin Group has sponsored the wine competition for 8 years.Sun Libo,general manager of Colombin China branch,Yantai Yilong Wine Packaging company said,"the authority and influence of the competition is increasing,on the other hand,we shared the same philosophy: We are both committed to improve Chinese wine's qualtiy."
At the end of ceremony,Wang Zhuming,Ma Huiqin,and Li Demei also gave their themed reports and shared some constructive opinions.
