Success needs opportunity and courage

Life is fulll of possibilities,sometimes an fortuitous opportunity may change your life.He once visited a winery with his friends.Then he became interested in wine.

In 2003,Zhang Zhaowen chose Northwest A&F University’s grape and wine engineer major.At the same year,with a teacher’s recommendation,he came to work in Xinjiang Xintian international wine company.

To have the chance to work in the wine industry,he was very excited and full of hopes.He started as workshop assistant,study while work.He said,”The process is hard,but to me it’ s valuable.”

In his third year in Xintian company,he recommend himself as team leader,in charge of the whole wine production.He said,opportunities are only for the prepared minds.Success needs  opportunity and courage.After 5 years work in Xintian winery,he was determined to work in the wine industry.

Pursue  dreams

At the end of 2008,he worked in latour-laguens wine company.During work,he tasted many imported wines and deepened his knowledge about grape varieties,different wine style and the whole industry.

And in 2010,he back to his hometown Xinjiang and worked in Bainian winery as vice general manager.His ”Weixu Hegu”red wine won silver medal on 2012 Asia Wine Competition.

In 2013,he started to work in Xinjiang Bazhou Yunsen Wine Company as general manager and winemaker.Talking about the chance he came to work in Yuanse winery,He said he met Zhang Junyou,the president on a wine lovers party.They had a lot in common,especially some concepts on wine.So he decided to join Yuansen winery and devoted to make the best Xinjiang wines.

To be a happy man and make the best wines
　　

He said he had special feelings about Xinjaing region.He believed that,”wine is the messenger of local Terroir.Winemakers should fully understand it,then he may make the best wines with region characteristics.”

He knows the region’s advantages and disadvantages.Like Xinjiang is a emerging wine region.Its wine reputation hasn’t built.Because of the different climate,grapes have deep colors and higher sugar content.Such difficulties didn’t discourge him,instead he thought it’s local winemaker’s resonsibility.

He prefers to make more fruity wines.In his words,wines are winemaker’s children. Father’s character will directly affect their children’s personality.He said he was a happy man.He loves his work and his hometown.And also he has a good wife who gives up her chance to study in France but to support him.

I think,a happy man made wine may let you feel happy.
