2015 Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain International Wine Expo was held in Yinchuan on Sept.7th.
Autonomous region leaders like Cui Bo, Hao Linhai, Industry leaders and experts like Wang Qi, deputy director and secretary general of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association, Dr.Li Hua, representatives from wineries, as well as foreign guests attened the opening ceremony.
Li Xueming,office director of eastern foot of helan mountain industrial park management committee hosted the opening ceremony.Hao Linhai,deputy secretary of the government of autonomous region,director of eastern foot of helan mountain industrial park management committee,as well as Ronald Brown,founder of the first China Wine Challenge(CWC)gave speeches.
Hao Linhai said,"In recent years,Ningxia is devoted to develop chateau wine, internationalization, high-end,and branding. Now,wine grape bases have reached to 34,000 hectares.There are more than 120 Chateaux including the established and under construction wineries. Annual production is nearly 100 million bottles.The region wines have won more than 200 medals on different wine competitions.The region has become the "star region"and "chateau wine region".
Ronald Brown noted that."Our aim is to improve the reputation of Ningxia quality wines both at home and aborad,and its market.I'm looking forward to the close cooperation with Ningxia in the future to built Ningxia wines prestige on China and even the world stage."
The expo will last for almost 2 month.More than 630 wines from 32 countries will be exhibited during the expo.Other activies including self winemaking experience,gold medal wine selection,grape road of silk road forum,and eastern foot of helan mountain grape tour.
