Co-organized by wine branch of China alcoholic drinks association and China national research institute of food & fermentation industries,presented by Citic Guoan wine company,the ¡°wine quality safety seminar¡±was held in Hebei on July 8th.
Titled as"wine quality safety and authenticity protection technology" ,the conference gained large support from Ministries unit like the ministry of science and technology and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China(AQSIQ). More than 80 guests from relevant ministries, leaders from industry associations, experts at home and abroad, representatives from China¡¯s leading wineries as well as industry journalists attended in this event.
With the improvement of people¡¯s living standards and life quality, wine has great growth potentials in drinks industry.China has become the world¡¯s fifth wine consumer and the sixth wine producer.However,with the fast development of wine industry,there are many wine quality and authenticity issues and food safety problems arouse which blocked the development of Chinese wine industry and national brand enterprises that caused a series of economic and social security problems.
To solve this difficulties,an international cooperation project- the regulatory and technical cooperation research of the authenticity of wine based on stable isotope - between China and Austria was launched.
On the meeting,it also announced the location of an associated research base of Xinjiang Manas wine region terroir and identification technology.
