¡¡¡¡1.Cultivating, thinning, pruning, tying, suckering, canopy management, planting and replanting, irrigating, and harvesting
¡¡¡¡2.Pest, fungicide, and herbicide management
¡¡¡¡3.Irrigating, monitoring, and making recommendations related to vineyard quality.
¡¡¡¡4.Erosion control, trellis Installation, irrigation installation, frost protection, vineyard installation, fence installation
¡¡¡¡5.Provide and acquire proper tools for all jobs; make sure that workers use the necessary equipment; keep areas clean and orderly
¡¡¡¡6.Enforce company policy; ensure that every job or task is safe for the employees; supervise to make sure all work is carried out correctly; assist the workers and treat them with respect
¡¡¡¡7.Understand and training employees in Policy, Procedures and Safety
¡¡¡¡8.Effectively communicate and cooperatively with support to staffs
¡¡¡¡9.Estimate harvest equipment needed; provide accurate harvest estimates; work within assigned budgets
¡¡¡¡10.Ensure that all necessary equipment is on site and in good operating condition prior to work
¡¡¡¡11.Search out and evaluate vineyard problems and make recommendations that provide effective, timely and economic solutions and deliver quality fruit
¡¡¡¡12.To complete other tasks assigned by supervisor leadership

¡¡¡¡QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
¡¡¡¡Education
¡¡¡¡Bachelors or masters level in viticulture
¡¡¡¡Languages
¡¡¡¡English, Chinese
¡¡¡¡Professional experience
¡¡¡¡At least 2 years working experience, at least 3 years of brewing wine brewing experience, familiar with grape cultivation management
¡¡¡¡Other abilities
¡¡¡¡Good communication skills, written expression ability and common computer software operation skills
¡¡¡¡
¡¡¡¡We are looking for harvest interns for the 2018 vintage.
¡¡¡¡As part of our harvest team, our interns will work under the direction of the Viticulturist and the Winemaker. The Vineyard, cellar/production interns will be assisting with winemaking from harvest through fermentation/barreling down. This is a comprehensive internship with exposure to many aspects of winemaking and production, including but not limited to: vineyard sampling, grape reception and processing, indigenous fermentation management, equipment operation and sanitation. Candidates should be highly motivated, able to work long hours and have a serious interest in wine production. Previous harvest experience is a plus. This position will be open from April 1st through mid-December depending on growth and harvest conditions.
