Vinexpo opens with a new look expecting 48,000 visitors to attend

Vinexpo 2015 is set to begin this weekend in Bordeaux with a new look and is expecting to attract an estimated 48,000 visitors to the bi-annual show in France.
Vinexpo opens on 14 June 14 and runs through 18 June and will have 2,350 exhibitors from 42 countries.
Chief executive officer, Guillaume Deglise, is shaking things up this year with
the fair¡¯s theme being ¡°Taste the Unexpected¡±.
As part of the revamp Deglise will be incorporating spirits into the mix as well as wine with a late night cocktail pop-up call The Hnagar at the nightclub The Blend on Bordeaux¡¯s waterfront. As well as adding an area to the show called ¡®The Spiritual Bar¡¯ which will have mixologists on hand featuring different cocktails and spirits brands throughout the chow.
Another big focus of this year¡¯s event will be the US market, which is named as the County of Honour at the fair. The show will offer in-depth insights into the country that has become the world¡¯s largest wine consuming market.
Napa Valley Vintners will also be making their debut at the fair which imbruing over two dozen of their vintners that belong to association to help showcase wines from the region. This is the first time that association will have its own stand.
A major upgrade for the fair this year will also be the easy access for those attending as a new extension to the tram line system will take attendees directly into Le Lac exhibition halls.
