Representatives from Italy winemaker’s association(Assoenologi) and Italy Colombin Group, as well as general managers from Chinese wineries, winemakers and wine medias participated in this conference.

On the conference,Emilio Defilippi,vice president of Assoenologi gave a speech on Italy wine industry and the Assoenologi,including its history,functions and services. Assoenologi brought many successful experience and hoped to seek technical cooperation in China.

Jim Sun,launcher of the conference and chief editor of winechina.com summarized the necessity of forming Chinese winemaker’s association.He said,Chinese winemakers team has reached a certain size and badly need to form association to offer services to them,represent them and help them.

Liang Xuejun,previous chief engineer for Dragon wine company also noted,winemaker is the soul of enterprise.Their development determines a winery’s fate and future development.Winemaker Wu Lizhu on behalf of Chinese winemakers introduced Chinese winemaker’s present status.

In order to expand Chinese winemaker’s vision,there were Chinese and Italian wine tasting.As the evolution of consumers,there will be some changed on wine styles.

In the end,Jim Sun gave introduction on publishing the book of “Chinese Winemakers”.Chinese winemaker’s is an important column on winechina.com.Since 2011,the website has reported more than 50 Chinese winemakers.

With the development of Chinese wine industry,Chinese winemakers are facing a big role change.The conference is to arouse whole industry’s concern for Chinese winemakers.
