Seek Winery¡¯s First Medal(5)Chateau Helan Qingxue: A Big Breakthrough

In the past six months,there were many wine competitions both at home and abroad.We heard many good news from the wineries.Among these wineries,I especially want to talk about our PUCUI Alliance wineries.
Chateau Helan Qingxue is located in Ningxia Grape Industry Science and Technology Park in the eastern foot of helan mountain region.It has 200 mus (about 13.3 hectares )of vineyards.Let¡¯s have a look at its awards:
The First Medal:
Gold medal on ¡°Colombin Cup¡±the 1st Yantai International Wine Competition Jia Bei Lan Cabernet Red Wine 2006
Bronze medal on ¡°Colombin Cup¡±the 1st Yantai International Wine Competition Jia Bei Lan Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

In 2007,¡°Colombin Cup¡±the 1st Yantai International Wine Competition (now known as China Fine Wine Challenge)was held in Yantai.At that time,there was no other Chinese wine competitions except the Asia Wine Competition,which launched by Dr.Li Hua.So we are the second.I clearly remembered that it¡¯s very hard to collect wine samples, except some very established wineries and some local wineries.Then I invited Chateau Helan Qingxue.It was the only Ningxia winery to attend our competition,because there was few wineries and vineyards there. The reason why I invited them,first because Li Demei was an old friend of me and he was consultant for the winery.Meanwhile,I often contact Rong Jian for wine business.So at last he decided to send two samples,just to test the quality.Their wines weren¡¯t officially launched at that time.
Several years later,when Rong Jia visited Yantai and saw all winning products we exhibited in our wine cellar,he noted that if we didn¡¯t hold this wine competition ,they wouldn¡¯t know their wine¡¯s quality.If they didn¡¯t get medals on the competition,they wouldn¡¯t have the courage to attend International wine competitions.
After the first medal,Chateau Helan Qingxue become a frequent winner.In 2011,the winery won gold medal on Decanter World Wine Awards,it was the first International gold medal in Chinese wine industry.Behind the medals are excellent wine quality and stable wine making team.
